Start making the frame by cutting two pieces of 5.8 inch thick wood. Use sandpaper to sand each piece to give a smooth polish. Then use the wood glue to glue the bottom of the wood to the back with the use of two 5 ½ inch pieces.

The next step is to nail to attach the two pieces together so that is firmly in place. Once completed use the glue to stick the sides to the back and the bottom matching the 2 3/8 pieces together. Cut out two pieces off the 1 inch wood with each 4 3/6 inches long. This will bring out perfect blocks of wood which will be used for days of the week. Sand the wood blocks and paint them, once done put them to dry.

Cut from the 2 1/8 inches of wood, two blocks of wood. These blocks will be used as a display for numbers. Paint them and out away to dry. Once that is completed, it’s time to move onto making the month blocks of wood. In order to do that, you will need to cut 3 pieces of blocks of wood from the 5/8 inch thick wood. The three pieces of wood will be used to display months of the year. Like with others, sand them to get a smooth surface and paint them.

Once you have all the above at hand, it’s time to glue them together. You can have your favorite designs embedded on top of the wooden frame. Place the calendar together so that months of the year will be at the bottom, the dates will need to be placed in front and the days of the week will be in front.
